Iconic Nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo has come out to provide details on what he does before playing movie roles that involve him having to perform rituals or any fetish practices.
Narrating his ordeal, he revealed that unlike the others, he doesn’t cast and bind any unforeseen spiritual forces or evil spirits before taking up such roles.
He further disclosed that he knows the talent he has is from the divine maker so the only thing he does is to play whatever ritualistic role he has been given and leave the movie scene.
He stated emphatically that, he doesn’t undergo any form of spiritual sanctification before playing a movie role that involves going into a coffin.
Being widely recognized as one Nigerian actor who usually plays roles that involve blood money, spiritual practices and occultism, the 61-year-old stated that whenever he appears on set to take up such roles he plays it without fear of being attacked by any evil spirit and leaves after his job done.
According to Kanayo O. Kanayo, the role he plays in movies has nothing to do with his personal character. He added that he acts like a ritualist just to make people believe he is a ritualist or an occultist but that is far from who he is as a person.
He reiterated that though he doesn’t go to Church every Sunday, he knows who he is and it has nothing to do with acting against the will of God.
Speaking on how he feels when people refer to him as ‘Nnayi Sacrifice’, Kanayo O. Kanayo revealed that he doesn’t shy away from the name because that is what pays the bills and puts food on his table.
