She was born on July 21, 199,6 in Lower Penn, in the United Kingdom to an Indian father and English mother. She lived and grew with her parents and two siblings, elder sister Reeya and younger brother Arun in a village in Lower Penn called South Staffordshire.
She completed high school at the St. Dominic’s Grammar School for Girls in Brewood and later offered a one-year foundation course at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Chalotra also had three years of training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
