Kuami Eugene’s mother is known as Juliana Marfo. Juliana Marfo is the wife of Alex Marfo that is Lynx Entertainment’s signee father. During childhood Kuami Eugene got disowned by his father Alex Marfo because he wanted to chase his dreams of becoming a great, musician in the world but his father was against his dreams so abandon him with his mother.
Growing up was not an easy journey for the young Ghanaian musician who has now become very great in the entertainment industry. During one of his interviews, Kuami Eugene applauded his mother Juliana Marfo for her love and suffering to make him who he is today because without his mother’s support and prayers he won’t be where he is today.
He also revealed how he got expelled from senior high school because he was billed to perform at a show. He left the school to another school to complete his Senior high education. After completing his education, he bought an audition form to participate in the MTN hitmakers which went well for him as he came 3rd and got signed by Richie Mensah’s Lynx Entertainment record label.
It was after MTN Hitmakers that his breakthrough came, as he got recognized by Ghanaians with his great vocals and hits songs like Ebeyeyie his first single with his label. The song that gave him fame was Angela which hit 1million views in just a week.
In celebrating his mother Kuami Eugene made a song for her called mama and also celebrates her also when he goes for interviews.
Kuami Eugene’s mother is a virtuous woman and a great mother who gave Ghana a superstar who is now one of the most sorted after musicians in Africa.
During Kuami Eugene’s mother’s 57th birthday the singer took to his Instagram page to wish her and wrote a very emotional message for her. Below is the birthday wish he wrote;
“I remember telling You, I promise your struggle to make me a better man will never go in vain. And things are not going to stay the same. I can’t pay you for the sacrifice, so all I have I give to you,” he wrote in a post.
