Information gathered by Xorlali.com indicates the current manager of the senior national team of Ghana, Coach Chris Houghton has been recognized as one of the highest paid coaches set to appear at the 2024 African Cup Of Nations (AfCON) tournament scheduled to take place in Ivory early next year.
According to a recent report gathered by Xorlali.com, the current Head coach of the Black Stars team earns approximately $50,000 on a monthly basis, placing among the top ten most paid football managers at the continental tournament.
The report also highlightes the likes of Rigobert Song, the coach of the Indomitable Lions Cameroon who earns $30,000 per month and Nigeria’s coach Jose Peseiro, whose salary dropped from $70,000 to a massive $50,000 following an extension of his contract with the Nigerian national team three months ago.
Still on the list of the highest paid coaches at the AfCON, head coach of the Moroccan national team, Coach Walid Regargui earns a whopping $60,000 as his monthly salary while the coach of the Ivorian national team, Jean-Louis Gasset receives a salary amount of $108,000 every month.
Furthermore, Egyptian coach Rui Vitoria recieves a hefty sum of $200,000 as his monthly salary while Algeria’s Belmadi tops the list as the highest paid coaches at the 2023 AfCON, commanding a mouthwatering salary of $208,000.
Last on the list according to the recent report is Zambian coach Abram Grant who earns roughly $25,000 as his monthly salary.
