Officials evacuated thousands from the South-Western region of Russia as a result of flood being caused by dam burst in Orsk city victims

Some few hours prior to the flood, an emergency announced was made to all persons residing in the Orenburg jurisdiction after levels in the Ural River shored up perilously as a result of melting ice.

According to the Russian officials, a total population of about 10,000 residents might find themselves in the flood zone while up to 4,000 houses maybe affected.

Meanwhile, a statement released by the Russian emergency ministry indicated that, 217 pieces of equipment and about 440 human resources where deploy to fixed the situation.

However, the regional prosecutors office iterated that, “Citizens of the Leninsky and sovetsky districts of Orsk are being evacuated to temporary accommodation centers”

Plus, the only tragic news is, three individuals have been found dead in the flood zone by the patrols. Meanwhile, the officials suspects that, their death could not have been as a result of the flood.
