The Ghana Police Service have arrested six individuals, who are suspected to have kidnapped a student of the Presbyterian Boys Senior High School

In the last few weeks, the tragic news of a student of the Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC) being missing from the school had sparked a lot of fear especially from all well meaning Ghanaians who had their children or family members in the various Senior High Schools.

However, the Ghana Police Service after the case had been reported to them, acted quickly by probing into the incident.

On the 5th of April, 2024, the Ghana Police Service through an intelligence led probe have succeeded in arresting the culprits.

According to the Police, the kidnapping of the student was orchestrated by four students of the Presbyterian Boys who are juveniles and two other old person who are not students but aided in making the kidnap of the boy a success.

Further, the Police had indicated in their reports that, the culprits had requested for a sum of GHC340,000 from the victims parents and they succeed by securing a part payment of GHC20,000 which the kidnappers had intended to utilize the money to exit from the country.
