Professor Kwabena Frimpong Boateng has called on government to review the Free Senior High School Policy

The former Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Prof. Frimpong Boateng in an interview with a local media outlet in an interview alluded to the fact that, the Free Senior High School Policy which is one of the current administration’s life changing policy in the educational system needs to undergo some form of review, which would correct the short falls in the policy.

Mr Kwabena Frimpong further iterated the significance of government going back to review the Free Senior High School Policy after seven years of it implementation.

“This our educational system is faulty. That is how I take it to be. So the Free SHS, if there are challenges we have to sit down and say how do we solve these challenges; review may be necessary or change certain things…” Prof Frimpong said

The renowned surgeon, when quizzed, about the significance for government to revise their own Free Education Policy asserted that, “I think so, I mean, every sensible person will have to review your activities and not say that what I started seven years ago is still the best,” He stated.

Mr Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng in defending his view of the need for government to review the Free Senior High School cited some examples “because if you look at the feeding, even one can talk about…” He added.
