The Director of Research at the Institute Of Economic Affairs (IEA), Dr. John Kwakye has spoken against Nana Addo’s recent assertion that Ghana’s economy has turned its corner towards recovery.

He further disclosed that this year’s Christmas is a Christmas to forget citing how boring, dry and dull the festive season has become.

He questioned the recent remarks made by Nana Addo, stating that one cannot afford a decent meal as the cost of chicken has risen to Ghc100.

Adding to this, he stated that looking at the level of hardship being faced by Ghanaians, he feels the economy has turned its corner for a few people and not the majority and posited by the President.
