Legendary Ghanaian high-life singer, Daddy Lumba has come out to provide details on the main reason why he is unable to perform certain songs he personally composed on stage.

In a recent interview granted by Lumba, he stated emphatically that he is unable to perform songs he has plans attachments.

Providing details on one songs he has personal attachments, he pointed out that one of his songs titled Ama Esah, happens to be one song he composed for his late mother and due to the connection he has with song, he can never perform it anywhere.

He went further to confess that those who are very close to him are aware of the fact that he is a very emotional person.

According to Lumba, Ama Esah is one songs he personally composed for his mother and thus he can never perform it anywhere even when there is a gun pointed at him.

Explaining further on why he can’t perform this song, he revealed that the songs is one tune that really makes him emotional and in light of this factuality, he may compelled stop and leave the stage in the middle of the performance.

In addition to this, he spoke about the motivation behind his famous hit song titled “Theresa”. Sharing a bit about the song, Daddy Lumba reiterated that “Theresa” is one other song he cannot perform.

Per his explanation, the song was composed in honor of his first love who was named Nana Konadu otherwise known as Theresa.

Furthermore, he confessed that he can perform the song “Theresa” because it is also song that evokes lots of emotions whenever it is being sang by him.
