Information gathered by Xorlali.com indicates Black Stars midfielder, Thomas Partey has resumed full training with the Arsenal football club after staying out of action for over two months.
The salient Arsenal player was missing from both club and international matches after making an appearance for the Black Stars of Ghana in October in a friendly encounter between the Ghanaians and the Mexican national team.
Three months, Partey suffered a hamstring injury prior to the Ghana-Mexico match resulting in his inability to play in some of Arsenal’s most recent matches as well as the 2026 World Cup qualifiers played the Black Stars in previous weeks.
Though there were numerous concerns raised about the player’s ability to participate in the 2023 African Cup Of Nations (AfCON) tournament which is barely three weeks away, his recent return has cleared all doubts surrounding his fitness level and the possibility of playing in the continental tournament.
In a few days to come, Arsenal will be facing West Ham and the return of Partey will serve as a great opportunity for him to assess himself as he gets ready to play competitive football.
Similarly, he will have the chance to feature for the senior national team of Ghana in upcoming AfCON tournament if he is selected among the final 27 players who will be moving to Ivory Coast for the actual showpiece.
