James Lutterodt: KETASCO 2021 NSMQ Star Dead

Social media is currently mourning the loss of James Lutterodt, one of the finalists of 2021 NSMQ who died in the early hours of today 3rd July 2023.

According to reports received from the family , James died mysteriously from food poisoning as he was preparing to leave the country to the United States to further his education.

James Lutterodt secured admission to Howard University in the USA and was set to leave when he met his untimely death.

His death was confirmed by his father to the headmaster of Keta Senior High Technical after the sad news went viral.

PASSING ON OF DZ JAMES LUTTERODT

The IMC was in the process of issuing a reminder to the NEC Reps Page on the forthcoming Volta/Oti Region Zonal NSMQ competition next week when the sad news of Dz James Lutterodt was received this afternoon.

James was a member of the 2021 NSMQ Team that made KETASCO proud by reaching the finals. He was a Level 200 Computer Science student at the University of Ghana and recently also gained admission to one of the American universities.

The Headmaster has contacted the father of James and he has confirmed the passing on of James of suspected food poisoning before coming home on vacation. The passing on of James has hit all Dzolalians with a heavy blow including the school and the NSMQ Team, which is currently in camp including a junior brother of James. The Headmaster has paid a visit to the Team and Dr. Boafo and the other Coordinators are providing the needed support and counseling to the Team. The Headmaster has also indicated the School Management is taking the necessary steps to guide the mood of the students on campus.

On behalf of the Dzo Lali community, we wish to express our condolences to the family and Year Group of James. IMC will keep Dzolalians updated on subsequent developments and engagements with the School Management, PTA, and parents of James.
