The National Communications Officer for the leading opposition political party in Ghana, National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged Ghanaians to vote for their Flag-bearer, Former President John Dramani Mahama into office as he isn’t corrupt.
Mr Sammy Gyamfi in his address to the press on Monday, 19th February,2024 at the capital of Ghana stressed on the fact that, their presidential candidate, Mr John Mahama has the track record of being an enemy of corruption and the best manager of the economy hence, electorate should give him the responsibility of manning the highest office of the land on December 7th, 2024.
“H.E John Dramani Mahama has demonstrated both in government and out of government, that he detests corruption, and will never condone corruption nor shield perpetrators of corrupt acts.
“He has stated clearly, that the days of the corruption clearing agent, will come to an end on 7th January, 2025 when by the grace of God, he assumes office as the president. He has said and demonstrated before, that the sword of the fight against corruption will cut both ways under his government, whether you are a member of his government or not.” He added, “John Mahama is incorruptible”.
According to Mr Sammy Gyamfi, the current administration has proven to be unable to quench corruption while he detailed out the mismanagement and no value for money spending in this current government.
“Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about our main opponent in the upcoming 2024 general elections. I’m talking about Alhaji Bawumia, the failed Vice President and Chair of the Economic Management Team, the clueless driver’s mate and discredited Flag-bearer of the New Patriotic Party, who has proven to be not only dishonest but also very corrupt,” Mr Sammy Gyamfi added.
