Head Pastor of the Anointed Palace Chapel (APC), Rev. Obofuor has asserted that love in our current world is not built solely on love.
However, it is significantly shaped by the financial worth of those involved. In line with his assertion, he cautioned people, especially those who would like to enter into long-lasting relationships, to exercise patience and be mindful of the kind of person they choose as their life partners.
Emphasizing on the importance of considering the financial capacity of one’s life partner, Rev. Obofuor stated that the financial status of a potential partner is one of the most important factors to consider before settling down with the said partner.
Citing an example to back his claim, he indicated if he were to be in a relationship with the daughter of President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, he would have stayed controversies based on the financial background of his partner.
According to him, love nowadays is for rent. He further disclosed that it advisable for people to check the financial background of their partners in to secure their future.
He went on to say that, in today’s world, any man or woman will be compelled to accept the proposal of his or her partner once the latter has money or comes from a rich home.
Per his assertion, once there is money involved, an individual is compelled to love his or her partner whether he or she has feelings for him/her or not.
