The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) have clutched on to thousands of tramadol drugs at the Team port
As part of the primary mandate of the Narcotics Control Commission, they have intercepted several capsules and tablets of tramadol at the port.
The drugs where deem not to have the necessary license for which such illicit drugs would be permitted to find it way into the market for people to purchase.
Narcotics Control Commission indicated that, they have seized a total of One million and Thirty-Five Thousand (1,035,000) tablets and capsules of tramadol which had a net weight of Four Thousand, Seven Hundred and Thirty-Four point thirty-eight kilogrammes (4,734.38kg).
Facts about the true owners of these drugs haven’t been disclosed by the Narcotics Control Commission.
