Ghanaian entertainment pundit, Arnold Baidoo has asked Gospel musicians to be grateful to Sonnie Badu for enlightening them on branding on the commercial aspect of doing music.

In a recent disclosure on United Television’s United Showbiz program, Arnold made it clear that before the emergence of Sonnie Badu, Gospel musicians had no idea they could run music as a business to make good money.

According to Arnold, Sonnie Badu’s insistence on the need for branding and commercialization of Gospel music paved the way for most of his colleagues to get a fair idea about the business aspect of the Gospel.

Adding to this, he stated emphatically that because of Sonnie Badu, the likes of Diana Hamilton, Joe Mettle and MOG have started branding their music and are making money out of it. He reiterated that before Sonnie Badu, there was no regard for gospel musicians.
