Nick Fisher, a popular River Cottage star, died at the age of 63. Nick Fisher had vanished with his springer spaniel, but her body was discovered by police. Nick Fisher, a BAFTA-winning scriptwriter and celebrity fisherman, had not been seen since leaving his home on November 15th, 2022.
He was last seen leaving Hooke, a village in west Dorset. In a statement, the force said the following. The cause of Nick Fisher’s death has not yet been revealed, but he went missing with his dog, and his body was discovered by police. Nick Fisher was 63 years old when he died.
‘Officers carrying out inquiries to locate a missing man from West Dorset have very sadly located a body.
‘While formal identification has not yet taken place, the body is believed to be that of Nick Fisher and his family has been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious and HM Coroner has been notified.
‘Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Nick at this extremely difficult time.
‘We would like to thank everyone who assisted with the searches, as well as the public for their help in providing information.’
