Brandon Smith, professionally known as B Smyth, was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on March 12, 1994. He was an American-born hip-hop and R&B artist. Since his adolescence, he has been inspired by Eminem and Young Thug and has aspired to rap like them. B Smyth began his career on YouTube by uploading his own songs.
After signing with Motown Records, he made his musical debut in 2012 with the release of Leggo. Following that, he released his next single, Win Win, with Future, and then his first EP, The Florida Files. “Hello I’m Denzil #BSmyth brother and today regretfully I have to announce that my brother has passed away this morning from respiratory failure after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis.”
He also said, My brother was very excited to see a lot of you create challenges for his latest released single #Twerkoholic part 2 while he was in the ICU, it really brought him a big smile on his face.
