Nigerian dancer and singer Korra Obidi is facing backlash online for the skimpy outfit she wore while attending Davido’s recent sold-out concert in Atlanta on November 18th.
Obidi documented her experience at the popular Nigerian singer’s “Are We African Yet” Festival show on Facebook. In videos and photos, she is seen wearing a very short skirt paired with a see-through bra, drawing criticism from some fans for her revealing attire.
In the social media posts, Obidi is shown mingling with attendees and dancing enthusiastically during the concert performances. She expressed excitement at the show taking place in her city of Atlanta and aspiration that she may be able to host her own concert one day.
While Obidi was clearly enthused to take part in the hype surrounding Davido’s high-profile event, her outfit choice has been met with disapproval by a number of online commenters who felt it was inappropriate. The dancer has yet to directly address the reactions to her concert attire.
