Olamide was born on March 15, 1987, in Bariga which is a suburb of Lagos. His early formative years were spent in Lagos where he schooled through basic and secondary levels.
His school leaving certificate and his West Africa Senior School Certificate respectively. He further pursued his education into a tertiary institution.
One is known as The Tai Solarin University of Education in Ikenne, Ogun State. In 2000, Olamide began his music career stating clearly that, music is his talent, his life, his world, and his hustle.
