A highly acknowledged Ghanaian female entertainment pundit who goes by the name Ruthy has come out to share her opinion on what could be the main motive behind Sarkodie’s decision to sign Strongman to his record label back in 2017.
According to Ruthy, Sarkodie’s decision to sign Strongman was a mere strategic move to tame him and not to help him gain the needed exposure as perceived by many Ghanaian music lovers.
Explaining further, she revealed that back in 2017 when Strongman got signed to Sarkodie’s SarkCess, he was burning with an unquenchable fire and in light of this factuality, he had attracted the attention of the youth and was loved by most rap music lovers.
Per Ruthy’s disclosure, Sarkodie foresaw Strongman to be a great rival looking at the heat he was entering the mainstream scene with and as such he decided to sign him onto his record label in order to tame him and quench his fire.
Furthermore, she explained that the national debate about who was the dopest rapper between Sarkodie and Strongman was unhealthy for the former, as such he decided to act smart by signing him to end the rivalry and consequently curtail the sudden comparison between Strongman and himself.
