The first edition of the Tema Most Beautiful (TMB) pageant was launched at a colorful ceremony held at the Alisa Hotel in Tema on 11th November 2023.

The event, which is on the theme ‘Projecting the values of the Ghanaian lady’, will showcase the rich cultural diversity in Tema and Ghana.

During the launch ceremony, the aim and purpose of the pageant was unveiled. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Creative Arts, Okraku Mantey, CEO of Tema Media, media personnel as well many others who came to support.

Speaking at the launch, the chief executive of Tema media, Nathaniel Amoabeng Turkson, reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the first-ever Tema Most Beautiful pageant showcases the rich Tema and Ghanaian culture while educating and entertaining viewers as well.

“This year, with our tagline ‘Projecting the values of the Ghanaian lady’, we seek to serve as a platform for promoting Tema and reinvigorating its entertainment industry. The winners’ image, post-pageant, will be utilized to bolster Tema’s image aswell as also get a SUV car .

“In addition, this event is also an invitation to the diaspora visiting Ghana in December to extend their journey to Tema.”

We are urging family and friends to support their favourite contestants by constantly voting for them to win the enviable crown this year,” he said.

Nathaniel Amoabeng Turkson also expressed gratitude to sponsors for their steadfast support. He further called on businesses to partner with Tema Media and invest in this year’s pageant as he assured clients value for money once they get on board.

Tema Most Beautiful promises to be one of the country’s most sought-after reality shows. The reality show will be known for promoting Tema’s cultural heritage and Ghana’s culture in diverse ways.
