Selorm Magdalene Gadah from the Volta Region of Ghana has won the prestigious title of Ghana’s Most Beautiful for the 2023 edition of the contest. Selorm won against Nurah, Aduanige, Naa Ayele, and Kwartemaa in the fierce competition on October 8, 2023. Selorm GMB 2023 takes the car, crown, and cash after giving compelling and argumentative responses to all the judges’ questions for the night.
Bono Region’s Kwartemaa placed third, while Nurah and Aduanige, from the Northern and Upper East Regions, respectively, placed fourth and fifth.

GMB 2023 Winner: Volta Regional Rep Selorm Wins Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2023
selorm gmb 2023 has always been the center of attention since the first day of the contest. Volta Region’s representative of Ghana’s Most Beautiful, Selorm Magdalene Gadah, emerged as GMB 2023 winner after she brought her A-Game to the show.
During the event, she showcased the abundant cultural and traditional legacy of the Volta Region. Additionally, she shed light on the remarkable individuals that the region has contributed to the country, which included distinguished figures like the late former President Jerry John Rawlings, the late playwright Efo Kodjo Mawugbe, and the late musician Ephraim Amu.
“We are one Volta, one united people, together we can do great things,” Selorm concluded her presentation as she danced to the popular Agbadza dance.
Judge Dzigbordi Dosoo could not hide her admiration but to remark: “Throughout the competition, you came gracefully, today you came powerfully.”
In the Q&A session, Selorm was asked about her views on the Free SHS Policy implemented by the government.
“The Free SHS Policy, I believe, is a good policy because it has lifted the financial burdens on parents and has also provided free access to education in the second-cycle to every Ghanaian regardless of their status,” she began, citing how a cousin of hers became a beneficiary.
However, she pointed out that the policy faces challenges, and urged the allocation of more funds and infrastructure to boost the program.
Selorm was crowned the 2023 GMB queen with the judges having 60% and the audience/viewers having 40% of the power to select the winner.
The crown, which was won by a representative of the Region in 2012, has now been claimed by Selorm. The previous titleholder was Emefa Adeti. selorm gmb 2023’s victory has earned her several rewards, including a brand new car, a cash prize of GH¢15,000, and a Camon 20 phone from Tecno. Furthermore, she will receive GH¢5,000 worth of products from the company, as well as a fully paid trip to Dubai, courtesy of Global Wings Travel and Tour.
