Keeny Ice was born Amu Barnabas to Mr. Pacal Amu and late Mrs. Elizabeth Senayah Amu on 11th June, 1991 in Aflao.
Kenny Ice went to Modestus International and completed in 2006. He then continued to Three Town Senior High School at Denu, where he studied visual art.
During his senior high days Keeny Ice used to perform to his colleagues at school.
