The current President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah has been questioned by the Paramount Chief of the Nsien community, on why he is not leaving office with his Vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

According to the leader of the Nsien Traditional Area in Western Region, the President promised to leave office with all of his appointees after serving his tenure but he seems to be doing the direct opposite of what he said years ago.

Speaking at a recent public gathering, the Nsien Traditional ruler, Awulae Kwame argued that Dr. Bawumia, the current Vice President who doubles as the flagbearer of the NPP is an appointee of the President and hence he should leave office with him as initially stated by him.

Prior to be elected President of Ghana, Nana Addo made it clear that he will depart from office without leaving with all those he appointed to help him rule the nation. He reiterated that he will join forces with them and accompany them out of office when his time is up.

In addition to the Paramount Chief’s question on why Bawumia is staying to run as President in the forthcoming election, he advised Ghanaian citizens to always address the problems in the society and behave like patriotic citizens.
