Brazil coach Tite has named his final 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, with Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino omission.

Other notable absences include Aston Villa’s Philippe Coutinho, who is out with an injury, and Arsenal’s Gabriel Magalhes.

Former Barcelona defender Dani Alves, 39, is an unexpected inclusion, as are Arsenal duo Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus, who missed out on Brazil’s squad in September.
