AFCON 2021: Benjamin Tetteh Shown Red Card For 'Punch' After Gabon 1-1 Ghana(VIDEO)

Yesterday was a very sad day for the Ghana black stars as they could win their second match as many predicted for the ongoing AFCON 2021 in Cameroon.

Yesterday’s match between Ghana and Ghana ended as a draw of 1-1 making Gabon the second leading country in group c.

Following their loss against Morocco, the Stars were eager to win the game against Gabon at all cost but luck eluded them when Jim Allevinah hit a precise shot to get his side leveled in the dying minutes of the game after Ghana had taken the lead in the 18th minute of the game with the skipper Dede Ayew scoring a fantastic goal for his side.

There was a brawl just after the referee blew the final whistle, and it had to take the intervention of security to calm things down. It was in the depth of the mess that Benjamin Tetteh who came on in the 86th minute threw a punch at a Gabonese player and ran into the dressing room.

Due to his actions, Benjamin Tetteh was shown a red card for punching the Gabonese player to the ground. A video of the scuffle has popped up on social media.
