Residents of Assin-Tsehentse, a farming community in the Assin South District of the Central Region, have heaved a big sign of relief following the provision of a merchandise borehole.

The water system will serve the nearly 3,000 residents of the area with accessible potable drinking water.

The intervention followed a publication by kofitutunews.com about the unhealthy nature of the sources of water in the community

The situation has persisted for years, leaving the residents with limited options, the people of the community have been compelled to use this contaminated water for their daily activities.
