The finance minister, Kennedy Ofori-Atta will present the government’s 2024 annual budget statement and economic policy to parliament on November 15 2023.

Meanwhile, the minority caucus after the announcement made by the RT.hon speaker Alban Sumana Bagbin have slated their criteria to which the annual 2024 budget should be drafted upon.

The leader for the minority caucus in parliament, Hon Cassiel Ato Forson speaking on behalf of the entire minority group shared their expectations for the upcoming budget presentation and further threatened to defy all odds in preventing the budget to be passed if it did not signify any hope and improve the lives of the good people of Ghana.

“Mr speaker let me be blunt; The upcoming budget statement will encounter resistance if it doesn’t prioritize the needs of the people and Businesses. That is our bottom-line,” Hon Ato Forson stated.
