Former Microfinance and Small Loans Center (MASLOC) Chief Executive Officer, Madam Sedina Christine Tamakloe Attionu has been jailed for engaging in corruption and corruption related activities.
Madam Sedina Christine Tamakloe Attionu has been on trial since 2019 for engaging herself in corruption and corruption related activities.
In details, the former boss of MASLOC was found guilty on seventy-eight charges which included causing financial loss to the state, money laundering, causing loss to public property in contravention of public procurement laws, conspiracy to steal, stealing and several other charges.
According to the law court, Madam Sedina Christine Tamakloe Attionu has been sentence to jailed for ten years which comes along with hard labour.
More so, the former Chief Operating Officer, Mr Daniel Axim has also been found guilty and sentenced to jailed for five years in prison for being guilty of causing financial loss to the state.
