Recently, there has been numerous concerns raised by Ghanaians on the need for gospel musicians to put their religious differences aside, so they can they land collaborations with secular artists.
In line with the numerous speculations surrounding this particular debate, award-winning Ghanaian female gospel artist, Pesie Esther has come out to provide some personal reasons why she will never consider doing a music collaboration with dancehall music crooner, Shatta Wale.
While shedding light on the reason why he will never land a collaboration with Shatta in a recent encounter with Bola Ray, Piesie Esther made it clear that there are some specific secular musicians he would personally love to do a song with.
Providing names of these musicians, she made mention of the likes of Sarkodie, Black Sheriff and Lynx Entertainment signee, Kuami Eugene.
When questioned on why she wouldn’t be comfortable doing a collaboration with Shatta Wale, the talented female singer stated emphatically that she likes the vibe from Shatta Wale, but she has no idea how the dancehall musician would sound on a gospel song.

Adding to this, Piesie Esther stated that, unlike the other musicians she made mention of, she doesn’t see the gospel side in Shatta Wale and as such she wouldn’t be able to collaborate with him on a song.
