Kim Kardashian was declared single by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Steve Cochran. The actress and businesswoman filed for divorce a year ago, citing irreconcilable differences with Kanye West, who has legally changed his name to Ye. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have four children together.
The judge approved Kardashian’s petition to end the marriage through a bifurcation proceeding, allowing for a change in marital status while other issues are addressed. Here is what Judge Steven Cochran said;
“The Court grants termination of the marital status”.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian got married in May 2014, making them one of the most talked-about celebrity couples in Hollywood, popularly known as “Kimye.”
This is the third marriage for Kim that has ended leaving her to become a single woman. Kim has been married before to basketball player Kris Humphries and music producer Damon Thomas.
