The Deputy Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sandra Sarkodie has chastised the ex-President John Dramani Mahama for discrediting students who excelled in the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
In response to John Mahama’s comments on the outcome of this year’s WASSCE results, the Deputy NPP Youth Organizer said the ex-President has been in the presidential office of authority before and as such, he is considered a statesman hence he must live with respect to his office.
According to her, the NDC flagbearer must be a changed man looking at his current political position and the fact that he used to a President few years ago.
In addition to this, Sandra urged Mr. Mahama to credit the Ghanaian youth with an appreciable amount of intelligence whenever he is offered the platform to speak.
Sandra Sarkodie is not the only NPP associate who has publicly criticized the ex-President for his recent comments about the 2023 WASSCE results.
The likes of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the current Minister of Education, Mr. Osei Adutwum have also lambasted the NDC flagbearer for his failure to appreciate the efforts of students who sat for the exam.
