The brother of Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, Afra has decided to come out to make some revelations following her sister’s attempt to break a Guinness World Record with her Sing-A-Thon experience.

According to Asantewaa’s brother, Afra The Voice, his sister didn’t undergo any form of training or rehearsal before starting the record breaking singing challenge.

In a recent interview with iconic Ghanaian female media personality, Naa Ashorkor, Afra stated empathically that though his sister didn’t train for the sing-a-thon challenge, he is hoping she breaks the existing Guinness World Record and sets her own.

According to Afra The Voice, the whole thing started as a joke after Hilda Bacci set a cook-a-thon record few months ago.

He stated that in line with her quest to set a record for herself, Afua wrote something to Guinness Book of Records and unexpectedly, they got a response from them.

Afua Asantewaa is poised to set her own for the longest singing marathon as she seeks for a maximum of 120 hours or more, that is if he is able to sing past the already existing record.

Inferring from the day she started her sing-a-thon challenge, she is expected to break the existing during the latter parts of the Thursday, 28th December and perform for an additional nine hours the next day, which is Friday, 29th December, in order to break the existing and become the new record holder.

Per the rules of the Guinness World Record concerning the sing-a-thon challenge, she is expected to take pauses of not more than 20 seconds while singing.

Also, she is expected to break in between her performances for a maximum of thirty minutes after an appreciable amount of performance, which means she is not expected to take frequent breaks but after a while she can pause to either jot down more songs or change her outfit.

In addition to this, Afua Asantewaa cannot perform a song repeatedly until after fours per the rules and regulations of Guinness World Record concerning the sing-a-thon challenge.
