The current Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahama has thrown a subtle jab at former President John Dramani Mahama in his recent congratulatory message to students who excelled in the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
In a recent post shared by the NPP flagbearer on X, he congratulated all WASSCE students while stating that the remarkable outcome of the recenlty held examination was as a result of the hardwork they put into their academic work as students.
Furthermore, the students who sat for the recent examination have made Ghana proud with their excellent results.
He went on to commend parents of students as well as their teachers for contributing to the outcome of the recent WASSCE results released by WAEC a few days.
In addition to this, Dr. Bawumia wished the students all the best as they move on to greater heights and take on greater challenges.
In his message, he urged the students not to anyone denigrate their achievements because not everyone can appreciate what it takes to be an intelligent student.
After making this disclosure, it has speculated that his comments on this section of his message could be an indirect jab to John Mahama who recently made claims about teachers conniving with students to help them cheat in order to pass their exams.
Though he didn’t really direct his sentiments to anybody, Dr. Bawumia praised students who sat for the 2023 WASSCE for their excellent results while reminding them that their amazing performance is as a result of their dint hardwork.
