Talented Ghanaian high-life singer, Kuami Eugene has come out to provide reasons why he is one of the most chastized young musicians in the country.

According to the Monica hitmaker, a large number of the Ghanaian populace develop some form of enmity for musicians who usually exhibit confidence and acknowledge their achievements.

Indifferent to his assertion, the Angela hitmaker underscored that he would continue to remain true to himself and will not succumb to any form of unsubstantial pressure from critics.

“They want you to present yourself as solemn; solemn means being humble, being humble means being meek, and being meek means being down there” the Lynx Entertainment signer said.

Furthermore, Kuami argued that the hostility shown to most Ghanaian celebrities is as a result of the immense economic hardship faced by citizens of the country.

Moving forward, he posited that the current hardships faced by some citizens forms part of the reasons why most of them tend to vent their frustration by targeting notable individuals and celebrities like musicians.
