Local beauty brand Navee’s Cosmetics was honored as one of Ghana’s top 30 beauty brands at the 2023 Glamour Beauty Cosmetic Awards held on December 16th.
The annual awards, organized by event company Jad Event Ghana, took place at the Accra Tourist Information Centre. The event aimed to celebrate standout entrepreneurs and brands shaping Ghana’s thriving beauty industry.
A total of 30 honorees across makeup, skincare, haircare and more were recognized out of a competitive field of nominees. Navee’s Cosmetics, owned by entrepreneur Vera Appiah Gyimah, joined brands such as Hair Brush Gh, Vicks Cosmetics, Snow White Cosmetics and BeautyPee Voc/Tech College among other industry leaders on the Top Beauty Brands list for 2023.
As Jad Event’s CEO Amoako Jacqueline explained, the awards spotlight young, creative pioneers crafting unique natural and organic beauty products in Ghana. “This award supports growing brands who have exhibited innovation under the year in review,” she remarked in her opening speech.
An honorary award was also presented to influential figures and institutions making major contributions to the continued growth and advancement of the country’s beauty sector.
Guests in attendance to celebrate the honorees included television host Maxbel Coleman who emceed the awards ceremony. As Navees Cosmetics received its distinction, owner Vera Appiah Gyimah emphasized the brand’s commitment to delivering exceptional, high-quality skincare products to consumers using sustainably sourced ingredients.
With its latest accolade, Navees Cosmetics continues cementing its reputation as a rising star among made-in-Ghana beauty labels. The Glamour Beauty Cosmetic Award recognition affirms the impressive impact of Ghanaian brand owners and product creators succeeding through dedication to their craft.
