Hiplife originator and Ghanaian rap icon, Reggie Rockstone has commended Sarkodie over his attitude towards work.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Class 91.3 FM, the VVIP music group member spoke about the power of music emphasizing on how Ghanaians are sleeping on the creative arts industry.

Adding to this, he acknowledged that Ghana has been hard and attested to the fact that a lot of people have been going through a lot lately.

Nonetheless, he underscored that it is only music that puts smiles on people’s faces despite the hardships in the country.

The salient Ghanaian hiplife artist expressed worry over people’s lack of recognition for Ghanaian soundtrack and their inability to give Ghana music and musicians their due regard and honor.

Furthermore, Reggie drew the attention of Ghanaians to the widespread excitement Patapaa’s viral “One Corner” hit song brought to the country and the tireless efforts of Sarkodie in the music industry.

Commending Sarkodie for his amazing music works, he stated that Sarkodie ha been doing all he can to constantly release songs and organize top-class music shows on an annual basis.

Touching on the rapper’s attitude towards work, Reggie quizzed on who he is as an artist while indicating that he work like a slave.

That’s to say Sarkodie tirelessly like someone who is being supervised by a superior or commander.

In addition to these accolades, Reggie Rockstone reiterated that apart from the government’s Year Of Return and Beyond The Return, the likes of Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Medikal add up to some of the individuals who make the whole creative arts industry and the celebration of Ghanaian music industry an amazing one.

In line with this disclosure, Reggie applauded the aforementioned musicians and their colleagues while  urging Ghanaians especially entertainment enthusiasts to help push them upwards and across the Ghanaian music borders.
