Sani Dangote, the younger brother of Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man, has died.
Sani, the Vice President of the Dangote Group, is reportedly to have passed away on Sunday 14th November 2021 in one of the best hospitals in the United States of America after a long illness.
He was a well-established businessman before his death, having investments in vital economic sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, banking, and oil services.
Dangote also served on the boards of Nigerian Textile Mills Plc, Nutra Sweet Limited, Gum Arabic Limited, Dangote Textile Mills Limited, Alsan Insurance Brokers, Dan-Hydro Company Limited, Dansa Food Processing Company Limited, and Dangote Farms Limited before his death.
In addition to being a professional polo player, the deceased was a two-time President of the Lagos Polo Club.
In honor of his outstanding leadership abilities, he was also named Consul-General of the Romanian Embassy in Nigeria.
