What is EPFL Summer Internship? The EPFL Summer Internship consists of a 3-month internship at EPFL. It is a research-oriented internship, with the goal of providing students with an opportunity to gain experience in research and to prepare them for doctoral studies.
The EPFL Internship is open to students from all disciplines and provides the opportunity to conduct research in one or more laboratories at EPFL. The duration of the internship is three months and includes a monthly stipend of CHF 2,000 (in addition to any other financial support).
This internship is a great opportunity for students from all over the world to explore the research and innovation happening at EPFL. You will be working closely with researchers and engineers in one of our laboratories. Your work will be related to a specific research project, depending on your skills and interests.

Eligibility Criteria for EPFL Summer Internship 2023
- Applicants of all nationalities are encouraged to apply
- Must exhibit strong proficiency in English.
- Enrolled in a BSc, B. Tech, MSc, or M.Tech or relevant engineering programs.
- PhD degree seeking applicants are not eligible to apply for the EPFL Summer Internship 2023 in Switzerland.
- Applicants with a high academic record will be given preference
