The couple allegedly fought when the woman refused to be her husband’s guarantor for a Sh2 billion loan he was seeking to start a business.
They proceeded to separate bedrooms to sleep after their disagreement, but the 50-year-old politician-turned-businessman was subsequently discovered dead with vomit on his nightstand.
Kiambi’s body was taken to Lee Funeral Home while police began their investigation.
The cause of his death has not yet been revealed. According to reports, police are currently investigating the matter.
According to the police report,
“They each spent the night in different rooms and the deceased never woke up since then, but could be heard snoring throughout the day and night and had vomited in his bedroom. It was until today at around 0600hrs when she went to check on the deceased and she found him lying dead on his bed with some vomits beside the bed.”
“They called a doctor from the Karen hospital who confirmed the death at around 0902 hrs.”
