Famous Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei has expressed worry over the lack of support Ghanaians offer to their creative industry, especially when it comes to music and entertainment.

In a recent post shared by the actor, he stated that it is no secret that Nigerian musicians have gained massive global recognition in the music scene more than their Ghanaian brothers.

According to him, Nigerians have been able to manage and promote their music very well, captivating audiences from all parts of the world.

He reiterated that even if DJs were to stop playing Nigerian songs in Ghana, Ghanaians would still go online and stream Nigerian songs worldwide.

Adding to this, he stated that Ghanaian musicians like Gyakie, Black Sheriff, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and King Promise has witnessed their songs being streamed by Nigerian music lovers more than Ghanaian fans.

Furthermore, the Ghanaian actor to the opportunity to urged Ghanaians to learn to support and appreciate their talents just like their West African brothers from Nigeria.

He went on to state that until Ghanaians have a change of mindset, show more love and pay more attention to their musicians, sportsmen and actors, they won’t witness any improvement in the entertainment industry.
