A well-known Chartered Economist identified as Mr. Bernard Takyi Oduro has described associates of Nana Addo Dankwah as serial callers spearheading the spread of propaganda.
In a recent disclosure made by the Chartered Economist, he stated emphatically that Nana Addo should in control of affairs and as such it is unacceptable for him to be spewing out lies about the current state of the collapsed economy in the country.
Reacting to comments made by Nana Addo, where he attributed the success of the Bank of Ghana to an efficient manager of the currency, Mr. Takyi described Nana Addo’s actions as an insult to the intelligence of Ghanaian citizens.
Speaking at the end-of-the-year cocktail event held by the Bank of Ghana (BOG), the President said commended the BOG for the work it has over the past few years.
During his disclosure, he stated that the Central Bank has distinguished itself to the admiration of all well-meaning Ghanaian citizens and in addition, it has discharged its duties efficiently.
In addition to this, Nana Addo stated that the BOG has proven beyond doubts that it is a sound banker and safe custodian of the country’s money and its precious assets.
According to the President, the BOG has shown efficiency in terms of currency management and proven to be a reliable source, and above all, a dependable lender of last resort through the banking sector.
