Award-winning Ghanaian highlife singer Dennis Nana Dwamena popularly known as KiDi explains why King Promise’s verse was taken off his hit song ‘Enjoyment’.

According to KiDi his 2020 hit song enjoyment had a verse from King Promise but got deleted after the management of King Promise has him delete their artiste verse.

KiDi made this revelation when he appeared on UTV’s United Showbiz show which aired live on Saturday night, October 30th, 2021, hosted by Abeiku Santana.

He also added that he has no issues with King Promise and ever ready to work with him.

However, it would be recalled that King Promise in an interview in 2020 on Radio Central’s Amansan Krakye, King Promise spoke about the same issue and revealed all that happened between his management and that of KiDi’s ‘Lynx Entertainment’.

According to Promise, there was a problem with the song, and his management team couldn’t reach an agreement with KiDi’s Lynx Entertainment which resulted in a misunderstanding. He added that he will always support KiDi whenever he is called onto.

“There was an issue with the song, and there was a lot of back and forth because I know the ‘third party’ and I know Lynx”. So to make peace with both parties, my management team asked that my verse to be pulled down.

“I knew the song will be a hit song, and will always support him anytime am called to, because I have no issues with him” – King Promise said.

The official music video for KiDi’s ‘Enjoyment’ hit song was released in 2020 and has so far clocked over 7 million views on YouTube.
