Minister for trade and industry, Hon K.T Hammond hints good news stipulated in the 2024 budget statement which will be delivered on Wednesday, November 15 2023.
The sector minister for trade and a representative for the residents of Adansi Asokwa in the Ashanti region, Hon Kobina Tahir Hammond stressed on the fact that the entire citizenry shouldn’t expect nothing less of a promising and a life changing 2024 budget as it would exacerbate and stabilize the macroeconomy.
“By December, the budget, which i am fully aware of because am a member of the Economic Management Team, when delivered on November, when you listen and see how we put measures in place, you’ll clap for the Akuffo Addo’s government,” K.T Hammond said.
In the same vein, K.T Hammond responded to those criticizing the government for securing a bail out from the international monetary fund.
“It is money for the whole world, even advanced countries go for some in large tunes, and when we go for small, it becomes a topical matter,” He added.
The finance minister, Hon Kenneth Ofori-Atta is set to read the 2024 budget statement on November 15, 2023.
However, the minister for trade and industry, KT Hammond is in high optimism that, the 2024 budget if implemented would position Ghana’s underwhelming economic indicators on a right tangent.
