Stonebwoy, the reggae-dancehall artist, performed an electrifying set at the FIFA World Cup Fan Festival in Doha on Friday. Fans jammed throughout the night as the Ghanaian music icon performed some of his greatest tunes ahead of the World Cup‘s final two games.
The multi-award-winning singer was scheduled to perform as part of celebrations marking the completion of a month-long football fiesta.
Fans at the festival were thrilled as they sang along to some of Stonewoy‘s hit songs in a video released on social media. Stonebwoy’s contribution to African music has earned him acclaim across the continent.
Meanwhile, Morocco will meet Croatia in the third and fourth play-off games of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar today. Morocco will be the first African team to play seven World Cup games and might finish with a bronze medal.
France will face Argentina in the final on Sunday, December 18, at the legendary Lusail stadium.
