By nationality, Barbara Billingsley is an American. Barbara Billingsley, who passed away on October 16, 2010, was born Barbara Lilian Combes on December 22, 1915.

She was a theater, voice, and film actor who was American. She started out in uncredited roles in movies like Three Guys Named Mike (1951), The Bad and the Beautiful (1952), and Invaders from Mars (1953).

She also starred alongside Natalie Trundy in The Careless Years (1957). Later, she played recurrent roles on TV shows like The Brothers.

In the television sitcom Leave It to Beaver (1957–1963) and its follow-up The New Leave It to Beaver, Billingsley is best remembered for playing June Cleaver, the mother (1983-1989).

In Airplane! (1980), she played the “Jive Lady,” and in the 1997 adaptation of Leave It to Beaver, she played Aunt Martha.
