Bettijo founded her own brand of organic spa and bath products, Bath By Bettijo, back in November 2003. Her journey into this venture began as a way to escape her demanding job as an analyst for the Department of Defense. Seeking relaxation, she started experimenting with herbal remedies in her small high-rise condo kitchen. It was there that she handcrafted her very first bar of soap, a moment that ignited her passion for natural body care. Bettijo delved into extensive research and literature on the subject, spending her weekends refining her bath and body recipes on herself, her husband, and her friends.

Her dedication paid off as her healthy body care line garnered positive attention from the press. In its inaugural year, Bettijo’s products were featured in prominent magazines like Health, Shape, Lucky, and O Magazine. Over time, her creations made appearances on The Today Show and in numerous major US publications, including Real Simple, Martha Stewart Living, Town & Country, EveryDay with Rachel Ray, and Parents. Additionally, Bettijo contributed her expertise to Martha Stewart’s Whole Living magazine and even appeared as a guest on the Martha Stewart Show.
