15-year-old White Ghanaian Unicycling Champion Trey Haun receives Head of State Award for Youth Achievement
Trey Haun, a 15-year-old Ghanaian unicycling champion, has received the Head of State Award for Youth Achievement.
The White Ghanaian kid made headlines a few months ago when he brought home two medals for Ghana at the World Unicycling Championship.
He went viral on the internet and was greeted as a hero by the people of Mamprugu, where he grew up with his mother and father.
He was honored at the Head of State Awards for Youth Achievement on Monday, December 19, 2022.
Trey Haun received the “Young Achievers & Innovators Award” from Hon Usif Mustapha, Minister of Youth & Sports. He was dressed in the traditional fugu of the people of Northern Ghana to receive the award.
